Monomoy Flat Structures

Food & Species
Structures:  This is a great section of the website to scroll through and see the South Beach & Monomoy Flats Systems from the proverbial 30,000 foot view.  The systems offer the Fly Fisherman a multitude of shallow flats, fingers, close top and bottom vegetated edges, deep edges, shallow edges, bottlenecks, deep channels, shallow channels, holes, bowls and a variety of substrate and bottom including sandy, muddy, firm, gravel, mussel bed, clam flat, quahog flat, and eel grass.  Since the systems are remote and virtually pollution free, the area is teeming with life and packed with food for Stripers.
